This is a guideline, not a hard cutoff. University of Guelph students and community members with straightforward tax situations are welcome to apply even if slightly above this range.

How it works

Our clinic is fully asynchronous — no appointments, no waiting rooms, no campus visits required.

Submit your documents

Upload your tax slips (T4, T2202, etc.) through our secure document portal and verify your identity via our secure link.

Receive your return

Our trained volunteers prepare your return and send it back to you for review. Once you approve it, we file it with the CRA on your behalf.

Drop us your details and we’ll send you access to our secure portal to get your documents submitted. Takes about two minutes.

International students need an ITN or SIN to file taxes in Canada. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to apply before we can file your return — we can point you in the right direction.

Our volunteers aren’t trained to handle these situations. If any apply, we may not be able to assist.
